Flip Dog Pilates Instructors
Studio owner Vicki Cross
has spent the last 23 years helping people
meet their conditioning goals. Her experience spans personal training,
fitness counseling, yoga, Pilates-mat and reformer bed. She is equally
comfortable with people new to exercise, high performing scholastic
athletes, the older adult and people rehabilitating from injuries. After
studying modern dance at Penn State University, Vicki instructed
dance and dance aerobics before moving onto personal training,
Pilates, and yoga. Inspired by Rosa Mota and Greta Waitz, Vicki
began her running career, eventually becoming a competitive
marathoner in the early 80’s. Vicki participated in numerous
marathons and the Corporate Cup Invitational Finals in 84 and 85,
while she coached aspiring high school athletes. She ski raced
competitively in the mid 80's and currently holds a Professional Ski
Instructors of America Level 1 certification. Her clientele spans all
age-brackets and ability levels. She works hard to ensure that
sessions remain fresh and challenging even for long-time returning
clients. Vicki helps her clients make conditioning a regular, engaging,
and fun part of their daily lives. Certifications: • IM=X Reformer Bed

has always been active and enjoys working out. Yoga
and Pilates together are a great combination that keeps me in top
shape to enjoy all the things that she want to do, like cycling, surfing
and snowboarding. She started practicing Pilates several years
before instructing. I enjoyed it so much that I became certified in IMX
Pilates in 2006. Besides being a great workout, I have found Pilates
to be the exercises I go to when I need to rehabilitate an injury, or
strengthen a particular body part for a particular sport.
